We had just a bit more than a dusting of snow today, but it was enough to get this girl excited. After a night of very little sleep, Annie decided to take a long nap this morning which was perfect timing to allow McKenzie and I to enjoy the snow. Once I opened the blinds and showed her it was snowing, she immediately wanted to go outside. I could tell she was excited because she, for once, didn't fight me on a single thing I asked her to wear. I just told her she had to wear it because it was snowing and she let me put it on her. Amazing.
So, we bundled up and headed outside. She yelled "snow day," sampled a few bites, slipped and fell a time or two and then decided to head back to the warm indoors just before the wet snow turned into sleet. All in all, a perfect snow day outing!

That does sound like a perfect snow day to me! Just enough time to be outside to enjoy but not get freezing cold. It sounds like the best part was getting her dressed and her not throwing a fit for coming back inside like my little man would. :)
So glad she got to wear those snow bibs at least once!
